GIZ implements the private sector financed Sustainable smallholder oil palms (Sulam) project under the cooperation with Bappenas, East Kalimantan Province Government, and East Kutai District Government. The project prepares independent smallholders for Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) and Roundtable Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) certifications and increases traceable and deforestation-free palm oil supply from small-scale farmers.
GIZ-SULAM has been supporting five smallholder cooperatives in Muara Wahau Sub-District, East Kutai, since late 2020. Together with the Local Agriculture Extension office and the sub-district office, the project supports the villages with the spatial planning process and the six oil palm smallholder cooperatives (five group managers) with training and organizational development to meet the two standards.
GIZ SULAM project is currently seeking a Contractor/Company to deliver Further Capacity Development for Partner Smallholder Cooperatives in Muara Wahau. The details service are set forth in the Terms of Reference.
